Compliance requirements
Medical and health requirements
Have your health records ready for upload. Since each facility has specific requirements, your credentialing specialist will arrange any necessary medical services not covered by your records, including blood work, vaccinations, TB testing, and a physical exam.
Drug screen and background check
You'll need to complete a drug test and background check before your first assignment. Your credentialing specialist will assist in scheduling any required appointments!
State license
We can help fast-track licensing in all 50 states. If you live in a state eligible for nursing compact licensure, we’ll assist in converting your license so you can practice in all compact states. We also support nurse licensure renewals—our team will notify you if your license is expiring and guide you through the renewal process. Plus, Aya covers your license costs—some upfront and others through reimbursement!
Certifications
Depending on your specialty, additional certifications may be required. We’ll help identify what you need and assist in finding local classes to complete them. Ask your credentialing specialist which certifications are reimbursable. Plus, don’t forget—Aya offers free access to CEUs!
